October- Self Evaluation (PBIS) and Reminder Letter Date: 10.3.17 OVERVIEW & PURPOSE -Focus: How am I contributing to make FMS a positive and safe environment? (WIOR) MATERIALS NEEDED
Scheduled times for advisory conferences to provide students
Introduction: Student Led Conferences are just around the corner, so today we will be completing Reminder Letter and completing the PBIS self evaluation.
Activity: (WIOR)
Hand out the Reminder Letter to each student. Have their conference times on hand to remind them of the date and time of their scheduled conference.
Read reminder letter with class or to class in order to clarify any issues or questions.
Have students bring home their Reminder Letters.
If there are any conflicts with the schedule, advisory teacher needs to be contacted as soon as possible.
Complete the PBIS Self-Evaluation. Have students place in their advisory binder when finished.
Teachers: make sure to have students complete their Academic Student Self-Evaluation in your class. Due by October 9th.
Close the lesson
Remember our monthly theme of September was Responsibility. One way to demonstrate this is to bring home the Reminder Letter.
